Guests walk where locals walk, and return each evening to a space where nothing is decorative for its own sake. From the terrace, the forest runs upward to the mountains; nearby viewpoints show the lake from angles most visitors never reach.
We found the land full of a plant we couldn’t name, ancient, thriving undisturbed. It was equisetum, the nuns’ old remedy. It became our mark.
